EA Announces the calendar of the FIFA Ultimate Team Championship Series, consisting of six regional qualifying events and a final event which will be broadcast through the website FUTChampions. The EA Sports UTC participants will have the opportunity to compete in this tournament which offers 1.3 million dollars.
The FIFA Ultimate Team Championship Series will begin on Feb. 4 with the Final European of the season one of Ultimate Team Champion, an event that will be broadcast live from Paris, where the best players in Europe will face to face to qualify to the final in Berlin. At the same time, they will carry out other regional finals of season one in Sydney and Miami. They may also compete for a place in the Grand Final of the FIFA Interactive World Cup that will be held this August in London.
Each Regional Final will count with the participation of 16 players in each console (Xbox One and PlayStation 4), which will play a League group phase and then a phase of Eliminator direct to determine the champion in each platform. The champions of each platform will face off in a final of back and forth on both platforms, to determine the regional winner.
