Anarcute. PC analysis.

The police is to serve to the citizen, not to serve the lusts of leaders political with more face that back. A police state is very serious and when they violate the laws that protect the population, a group of civilians can become the greatest tool for the protection of a no totalitarian system, planting face to these bad leaders. That is what, in essence, can be seen on Anarcute. It is what teaches us, it is the feeling that after playing it. It is the citrus flavor that remains after eating good homemade guacamole.

A history of corruption

Anarcute, developed by the French Studio Anarteam, is a game of action and arcade with subtle touches of strategy. As if it were V for Vendetta (by Alan Moore), a bad leader (know it is bad because it takes look wrong, of course) has all of governance. Does, says and think what you want, engaged in egregious situations for the population. Trapping the insurgents, attacking the civilian population using as a weapon the own civil protection. The police state is established, violating the right of the people to have laws that help good social development. The leader relies on terror to carry out vile interests.

Anarcute

The population began to move, slowly. A group of demonstrators with banners is released to the streets, shouting “Freedom!” and “No!” (we assume that oppression), and advanced slowly but inexorably to the Commissioner, planting face of authoritarianism. No possibility even arrived, they are captured by the system, using the police as a dirty tool of their interests. This is the straw that fills the glass. This cannot continue, “to where you are going to get?”

A cartoon style that fools

A group of demonstrators with something with banners more out on the street, collecting more passers-by, creating a jungle of pain, hate, sadness and cruelty, and how much more people will join the cause, the greater momentum. As a poorly designed violence feedback system. Charges against the police, against the Commissioner, against the system, against the evil leader. The best tool for the people now are the people…

This is what we see, if we play Anarcute. Although we will not see it as well. Only if you look well. If you look at it sideways, you will only see a game arcade that gathering troops and advancing with head on the map will take you to your destination and will spend screen what is the cause? Title tricks on the eye, with a very cartoon touch, very “cute”, very childish. The mob of people that we have, that hit the members of security and sweep streets and buildings to make their way to their target are, neither more nor less than animals. That creates a rift in our brain in the situation that we are seeing. But says it your name, isn’t it?

Anarcute

In Anarcute the rules are very clear. How much more amount of insurgents have, plus bonus will get (novas to harm the enemy, demolish buildings, faster movement, etc) much less number of insurgents have, less force will offer against the oppressive system. When the angry people counter reaches zero, we will have died and lost the battle. We pass through different countries (Japan, France…), combat booting streetlights, billboards, commercial stalls, and other things that we can take as a weapon for this mob. Each enemy has a form of attack, defend themselves. A function, a movement. We will find traps, lasers, doors and so on. The game is very effective. Very, very funny. While we spend it will not be in vain. With the rankings system we will rejugando the areas that already we have spent to get more points (remember that it is an arcade) and coins, which we will use to buy more skills for the enraged mass. We will be releasing new animals to the marabunta, although we have not been able to appreciate if it’s just aesthetic or each has some sort of independent attribute. Whatever the case, I reiterate in what was said previously. It is so absurdly funny that once we stop thinking in the violence inherent in the system that you are seeing and the estrangement is as effective a little while, it’s one game more.

Graphically, the cartoon theme gives it that touch children and fun, with the animated faces of protesters gatetes, raccoons, squids, octopuses, sharks, ferrets, etc. The music is appealing, but nothing remarkable.

An important note, I have been unable to play with remote, although recommended by the game. Does not recognize the joystick movement (the left one) and can that my opinion in that regard has been truncated because, while it is fun to play with sets keyboard + mouse, having to set target mobile to attack in a camera that does more than move it is uncomfortable.

Anarcute conclusions

Is Anarcute a game need? No, for nothing. But is fun, attractive, curious and advisable if what you are looking for is hit without thinking. Has qualities that it make fun to more not to, and the interesting possibility of redo a mission because you left something that unlocks another animalillo or you gives a determined t-shirt (if, carry t-shirt but not pants.) (Things of Disney, that is you is going to do)
