2018 will be the year that we see one new reboot more in the Tomb Raiderfranchise, although on this occasion will be in the world of the cinema, not the gamers. Angelina Jolie gives way to the Oscar-winning Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft and the start of filming, we can see the first images of heroin.
In this new adventure, we have the following Synopsis:
No purpose in life, Lara Croft is the daughter of an eccentric adventurer who disappeared seven years ago without a trace. Seven years later Lara Croft is a 21 year old who wants no part of the Empire of his father and works as a Messenger by bicycle, which does you almost income while he attends classes at the University, something that does not very often. Without knowing exactly why, Lara decides to investigate the disappearance of his father and travels to the last location that was: a grave on an island somewhere off the coast of Japan.
But the trip is going to be much harder than I thought and will have to overcome its own limits in order to survive of the unknown. If he does not die on the trip, the name of Tomb Raider will have won.
The director, Roar Uthaug, told GQ that this new Lara Croft film will be a tribute to the reboot initiated by Crystal Dynamics, us back to the origins of the character and know how I get to be who became.
