The world of Minecraft continues expanding and already a few years being used to educate young people in technology camps. Now, Mojang wants to go one step further. With the return to school, Minecraft Education Edition abandons its beta phase and will have a final version very closely. You can teach children new ways to solve problems, understand the lessons and put into practice what they learned. Since June, over 15,000 teachers and students have provided feedback to the developer to know what were its strong and weak points.
New features include:
- Classroom (classroom mode) mode: a complementary game application that will display the map of the land of the game and the teachers may place students. Also will serve to open conversation with them and to help them in their puzzle. All of this without the need to be playing.
- All applicable to Minecraft Windows 10 Edition beta. There will be a new interface, horses and straps, more customization options and applications with Red Stone, the ultimate tool to create machines of all kinds within the pixelated world.
Minecraft Education Edition can be used as of November 1. However, Microsoft has made available to teachers website education.minecraft.net which includes a methodology for planning lessons and a Minecraft mentoring program to teach more veterans to novices.
