With Mass Effect Andromeda 13 days after his departure, there are few things that are pending announced by Bioware. We have known for some months that the classes would be open, i.e.: we will not choose one at the beginning of the game and we’ll stay there without possibility of change.
But thanks to the introductory video to the Andromeda initiative, we also know perfectly how you customize weapons and how work skills. The complete pack is promises to be very interesting, providing player much freedom and the ability to start over if you have got an unwise mix.
According to the video’s introduction, the initiative has few weapons because there is plenty of space. To change, they are highly customizable and so can play with the resources that we have and get very different from each other, weapons even if they are the same. However, throughout the game we will be getting more weapons that we can also customize.
We have four types of firearms: pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, and sniper rifles. We have lost the submachine, that worked so well in Mass Effect 3, but instead we won several weapons melee. In addition to having biotic blade, a classic, we have a sword with air to katana (to make the favorite of many) of command asari, a krogan hammer.
Each weapon you can customize with accessories, but differently from other Mass Effect. We will add ammunition types (more than before) or rocket-propelled grenades. Instead of the classic menu to activate different ammunition during the battle, now create more custom profiles and that we can also change in combat.
Unlimited level and open classes
On the other hand, something that will greatly enrich the game and will exponentially increase the replay value is that there are no closed classes. We don’t have to choose one to start the game and we will be able to buy skills from different branches. However, as we move forward buying skills will have access to those classes profiles, but it will be our own future which leads to it.
According to the developers, it is not unreasonable to get skill points to all skills and create a Supreme character, however, would take a number of difficult to calculate time. We also spend a number of credits in redistributing all our skill points, since it is possible that the path we have taken, or want to try different things not like us.
