Those fans to the games of table of Warhammer are of congratulations. The Straylight Entertainmentdeveloper, is doing the finishing touches to the Warhammer more faithful to board games to date. It’s the new Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach, which will be available starting on January 19. The first prints that show here are on the version beta, to which even you are missing details in translations, menus incomplete, textures without be them late, etc. Things that we have indicated since come corrected in the version end, but us serve to have an idea of how will be the Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach.
Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach will be one of the most faithful
Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach it is of a game of strategy in 3D by turns. This single version you can enjoy the first level but us enough to see the dynamics of the game. We have a series of attack points with which you can select different types of units of our space wolves (30 different types of units) Squadron, in the same way that takes place in the Board game. After this is us will present the map and them 7 points of interest, of which will have that conquer 5 to win the game.
Combat is simple, you will have a shift in which we will select the unit we are interested and we will decide where to move it and what opponents attack. As is logical, each unit will have its advantages and weaknesses according to its type, being each a more or less useful for a type of adversary or another. When we finish the actions that we can perform (or when we have our strategy of Defense ready), we will finish the turn and will give way to the attack of the enemy. A small Council, by now is better that not divide our troops and attack with all to each group, tend to get best results as well.
Sanctus Reach will have two campaigns and mode multiplayer
It has two long campaigns (not yet available in this beta): Stormclaw and Hour of the Wolf. This way us situated in the last bastion of the humanity, the world gentleman of Alaric Prime. This world still resists attacks from hordes of orcs, a race of barbarians and warriors, Xenos that planet after planet are conquering the entire universe. To hands of them wolves space, an of the races favorite of them amateur to the saga, will be the last hope for them human.
The day of the launch of Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach, on January 19, will also be available the multiplayer mode, which promises to be the best of the game but still need to see how stimulates Straylight Entertainment shifts waiting while the other player decides its strategy.
Technical section
Graphically us commented that the textures still not are the late. Yet the level of detail of the models of the characters, buildings and attacks fulfilled its function, without being the best that we can find, they are well made. As we mentioned, we will have to wait for the final version to really appreciate their finish. The game menus are not translated or finished but yes it will be as soon as the game’s released.
In the sound section you can enjoy realistic sound that well meets its role in attacks or explosions. Perhaps if we noticed little variety in background (mainly paused epic music) music and that conform more to the moments of more stress in combat (becomes monotonous past time).
As discussed, there are still several aspects in which the game must improve before going on sale, especially menus unfinished, final textures and music. Despite this, us captures the dynamics of the fighting from the first moment, being a few bouts of intense development and a Med/high difficulty. No doubt Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach will delight all those who are fond of strategy games by shifts and the Warhammer series.
