The Xbox team has just published information about Xbox Game Pass, a new monthly subscription service available for Xbox One which gives access unlimited to over 100 titles of Xbox One and retrocompatibles of 360 for a price of 9.99 euros a month.
Xbox Games Pass will give their first steps with a group of users of the Xbox Insider program from three in the afternoon (Spain time) and will be available to other users later throughout the spring. If you are part of the program Xbox Insider and want to enjoy this update right now, simply by rebooting your Xbox One serve. If you do not restart the console, Xbox Game Pass will be shown on your dashboard in an hour approximately.
Also, the team has offered more details about this service. Xbox Game Pass and Live Gold are two independent services. Game Pass without Gold can therefore be used although the latter will be required to access functions such as modes online multiplayer.
Xbox Games Pass will feature more than 100 games, that is why Xbox confirms some of the titles that will be available throughout the spring: Banjo-Kazooie, Gears of War: Judgment, Jetpac Refuelled, Ms. Splosion Man, Perfect Dark Zero, A Kingdom of Keflings, Hexic 2, Monday Night Combat, Kameo, Viva Piñata, The Maw, Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley, Sam & Max : Beyond Time and Space, Sunset Overdrive, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, Halo: Spartan Assault, Dark Void, Sacred 3 NBA 2K 16, WWE 2K 16, Borderlands, BioShock, BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite and XCOM: Enemy Within.
All the games available on the service are downloaded to the console to ensure users the best possible experience. And no, there will be any kind of download limit for what you can download many games you want (and let the memory of the console).
The catalog of Xbox Games Pass will be rotating every month, those who are about to leave the list will be featured so you know which soon will no longer be part of this subscription. If you want to buy a title Games Pass it will also have a discount of 20% on the Xbox Shop plus 10% extra if you are user of this subscription service.
The downside of all this, to put it in some way, is that once the subscription all Games downloaded will be deleted automatically.
