You Deserve. Analysis PC

A time listened to a professional of the psychology talk on the topic of the bullying. Issues thorny

In the Institute secondary Raiven High School, a group of boys were hit without compassion with a companion. The harassment continued and the violence psychological it is forced to the suicide. After a time, some that another boy in the area has disappeared. And is heard occasionally someone saying that has seen shadows or sounds strange. The protagonist (and, basically, you) it is the Amy Cooper, which “the most popular girl of the Institute”, could be dubbed is a surreal, dreamlike and sinister place. The world is dark, gloomy, illogical and absurd, like a nightmare incoherent and brutal. And our mission is, basically, go from there.

Playable, the title is a little green, but understandably, being the first TGA Company title. Developed in Unity, we have a FPS flee and make small puzzles to go resolving situations that show us (find the key to open the door of the next area) and thus advance the plot.

We thank madly dubbing into Spanish (by Paula Cervera as Eri Loveless), although perhaps some intonation and rhythm are missing. Maybe the problem is that it has an amateur profile, but even so, it is a success and perhaps a detail of purity had been also bend the writings that we are encountering. It sound is well, us has failed a couple of times in some scripts with the environment boxes that fall, doors, and things so but in general not there is nothing negligible in that aspect.

The scares are no longer what they were

The major problem we see at this point are the jumpscares (simple scares, sudden appearances, dropping of sounds, etc) and their absurd, even ridiculous abuse (there are up to jumpscares when you give it to exit the game…), making the experience something futile and meaningless (as it was the case in Slenderman). The history and the atmosphere are diluted by the use of this inexpensive technique to maintain attention and tension. In this way becomes an interesting experience, a walk with scares nothing graceful and very predictable (“takes awhile without leaving any scare, and I’m in a Hall. Long takes in jumping me a jumpscare”).

A very simple example is Spooky completo Jump Scare Mansion, where we will visit a simple Castle and our mission is to cross a thousand doors. All are scares, but the title plays with our brains since (and even though you may not believe it I) the scares that we are monkeys and very kawaiis (bichillos happy, smiling, with bright colors and very eye-catching) and still, it scares you. Das jumping on the Chair even if you know that that will do you harm. Because You Deserve, sadly is guilty of that. Other negative mention are the physics of the game, which sometimes are erratic and obtuse. But hey, it is Unity.

Now, what is the visual theme. Stop image, there is no problem. Aesthetics is suitable and the atmosphere plays a role very important and detailed. Darkness looms over us and there is nothing more important than out of there. Now, if we talk about the theme of movement, there we have a problem. Natural is not noticed, it seems to float on the stage as if there were no legs. The WASD is very unreal, though within the oneiric context of the issue may have been the intention of the devs.

Conclusions You Deserve

Both the movement and the issue of the scares we throw back, but the plot isn’t bad and at least the tension keeps us alert. Dubbing is a point in its favor, a great point, that is eclipsed their 2 hours of gameplay. We are not facing a title to make history (at least for the great games quarry which has Steam) but for the small company that is TGA Company, safe which is an achievement. They are two hours of fun for €9.99, which makes it easy and affordable for everyone. Scaling graphics loading is useful (is a fishcake) Although imprecise standards videojueguiles on PC. Even so, it is usable. We reiterate the terms of the title, it is the first company, give them the benefit of the doubt.
