Nordic THQ has announced the release date of the version of Wii U Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, the remastering of the first installment of the series. After a few months without any news on this release, and speculation about its cancellation, the company announced the project to go ahead and that it reach the Nintendo console next month of May.
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition is the remastered version of the first installment of the series where we control a war, the first horseman of the Apocalypse, after being accused of violating the sacred law, and inciting a clash between heaven and hell. Stripped of his powers and disgraced, is given to war the opportunity to return to Earth to find the truth and punish those responsible.
The title offers important improvements on the graphics, which include a resolution of 1080 p and the duplication of all resolutions of the textures. In addition there is also improvements in the rendering, where some elements have been developed from scratch; improvement in the quality of the shadows; and post-processing effects.
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition will be available in Wii U next May 23.
