Overwatch has reached our consoles and PCs to stay for a long time, and although his competitive mode will have to wait a bit to arrive, our mission is both play as possible to familiarize ourselves with all the heroes and to raise levels to get loot boxes. Level up
To level up is pretty obvious what we should do; games, either in quick game mode or against AI controlled enemies. For every second that we play in a game we will gain 4 experience points, while completing a game we will receive 300 experience points, and if we win the game, 500 points. In addition, if we play games in bracket will receive a 20% extra experience. Now the question is how much experience we need to level, so here you can see the list of experience points required for next level:
- Experience to reach level 1: 1500 points
- Experience to reach level 2: 3000 points
- Experience to reach level 3: 4500 points
- Experience to reach level 4: 6000 points
- Experience to reach level 5: 7500 points
- Experience to reach level 6: 8500 points
- Experience to reach level 7: 9500 points
- Experience to reach level 8: 10500 points
- Experience to reach level 9: 11500 points
- Experience to reach level 10: 12500 points
- Experience to reach level 11: 13500 points
- Experience to reach level 12: 14500 points
- Experience to reach level 13: 15500 points
- Experience to reach level 14: 16500 points
- Experience to reach level 15: 17500 points
- Experience to reach level 16: 18500 points
- Experience to reach level 17: 19000 points
- Experience to reach level 18: 19500 points
- Experience to reach level 19: 20000 points
- Experience to reach level 20: 20500 points
- Experience to reach level 21: 21000 points
- Experience to reach level 22: 21500 points
- Experience to reach level 23 and onwards: 22000 points
Additionally we can receive bronze, silver or gold medals as it was our participation in the game. The medals is achieved by deletions, damage done, healed points with a support character, etc. The bronze medals will give us 50 experience points, the 120 silver, and the gold 150 points. All those medals we receive do not accumulate, so we will only receive the experience of the highest medal that we take. It will be added to the experience received for playing the game.
Loot boxes
Loot boxes are achieved by simply raising level. For each level that we get, we will receive a booty that will have inside 4 objects – pose of victoria, phrase, skin, avatar, outstanding moves, emoticon, or graffiti – random category, between common, rare, epic and legendary. Of these four items will always be one of least rare category, and we will not receive repeated personalization objects. If we are unlucky enough to receive the same object, we will receive credits to buy the object of customization that we like.
Finally, to customize the heroes of Overwatch we have to go to the Gallery of Heroes in the main menu and select the hero that you want to change. Within each hero we will find objects that we’ve already unlocked, and you can change them to our own liking so they have another victory pose, another phrase, graffiti and other options. The aim, clearly, is to get unlock absolutely all the options to make the hero made our custom when we play with him, so we will have to play without stopping to Overwatch.
