a few hours ago I talked about that on Pokemon GO mechanics that the Pokémon would have various attacks had not been lost, with all that this implies. Speed, damage and effectiveness depend on of each type, by what is very important to know that attacks has our pokemon.
Before entering into matter, I should also explain that GO Pokémon difference between two types of attack: the rapids and the special. The Rapids, of course, have the advantage that are faster so you are more likely to attack first. The Special on the contrary are slower, but more grinding.
A greater damage not always is best, there comes the DPS
Another very important point to consider is that even if an attack has the most damage in the game, doesn’t mean that it is causing more damage in the long run. There comes the factor DPS, that literally means “damage per second”. Them attacks more powerful tend to have a greater time of recharge, by what perhaps one less powerful, but more fast can cause more damage throughout the fight. But well, we reserve that for another article, where I will explain it in more detail.
So, without more, here you leave two tables with those attacks more strong of both branches, them fast and the special.

How you can see the damage difference between special attacks and the fast is very large, so always you must import you have a powerful special than one fast attack. No doubt with this you can understand perfectly why it is so important what attack is our pokemon, as much PC that has our team, if not accompany it a good attacks we will be useless.
