Blizzard has announced that the new patch of Overwatch, the multiplayer action game is now available. You can consult the patch notes here but I discussed the main developments below:
- Season 2 of the competitive play
Season 2 has begun and the most noteworthy developments include the introduction of skill levels. Each level has a unique icon that is displayed next to the name of the player. Removed the death sudden, and in their place, for maps of escort and assault/escort has introduced an improved version of the reservation system of time already used on the maps of assault of Overwatch. They have also announced a free PlayStation 4 and Xbox One weekend. From 9 to 12 September will be able access the 22 heroes and maps available, as well as play modes, including sit & go, the custom games and the latest weekly Brawl. You can also level up, obtain loot boxes and unlock different customization options through the Gallery of heroes. We will also retain the progress you have made during the weekend if we get with the game.
