GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd., company leader in plates and graphics cards is proud to announce a new collection of plates based GIGABYTE, that have been certified by the technology Intel® Thunderbolt 3. GIGABYTE is the leader in the development of this technology, only there is that look in the market today that many devices have been created using plates base GIGABYTE.
Shortly after the launch of the new plates base designare and ultra gaming GIGABYTE is announcing that many of these plates base newly released have the technology Thunderbolt 3 available for the user. To activate this feature only thing you need to do is update BIOS and software. With a width of 40 Gb/s bandwidth, along with its ability to transmit data, video, audio and power with a single cable. Thunderbolt technology is sought-after for its fast transfer speeds and its ability to simplify the cables that are on the desktop. The user can connect to string up to six devices per port with an extra monitor at the end.
Thunderbolt 3 uses a c-type connector, this reversible connector is also capable of supporting USB 3.1 protocol for future devices.
In addition, GIGABYTE officially announces the first front panel with Thunderbolt 3connector. This Bay can be installed in an expansion slot 5.25 “and has support for Power Delivery 2.0 up to 100 Watts. Users will also have the advantage of having USB 3.1 support both in type connectors as in c-type.
Finally, for users whose motherboards may not be compatible with Thunderbolt 3, GIGABYTE is launching an expansion, the RIDGE GC-ALPINE card. This card is compatible with many plates based GIGABYTE that have a connector Thunderbolt in plate, allowing to the plate base support the functionality of Thunderbolt.
